ESTABLISHMENT:
HNIMR, is management institute for women, established in 1996. It is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly known as University of Pune) and recognized by AICTE & DTE. It is one of the few Institutes in Pune to be accredited by National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi.
It is committed to quality management education to enable women to occupy authority positions in different areas of work. It strongly believes that when women become decision makers, it has a positive impact on contribution towards economic and social development.

The vision is to develop a center for management excellence exclusively for women.
MISSION:
To develop competent young professional women managers; possessing the capability to contribute effectively in the challenging environment.
EXCELLENT INFRASTRUCTURE:
The institute’s building is self sufficient and well equipped. The Institute has spacious premises, well equipped classrooms and auditorium, up to date computer lab and rich library.
EXPERIENCED FACULTY:
The experienced faculty devotes itself to all round development of students through industrial visits, seminars, workshops, guest lectures, case studies and projects. The Institute’s corporate training division – IMPACT, undertakes training and consultancy assignments relating to various functional areas.

HOSTEL:
HNIMR provides residential accommodation for girls coming from all states of India. Adequate hostel facilities are available within the campus. All the hostel premises including the ones being run by hiring private hostels are provided with round the clock professional security, a doctor on call and hostel wardens. Recreation facilities like T.V., magazines, some indoor and outdoor games are also available at the hostels

A variety of food and a friendly atmosphere make the cafeterias ideal for students to relax and interact with their peers.
HEALTH CARE:
Medical aid is provided in the campus. A doctor and nurse are available to take care of general and specific ailments. A psychologist is also available in the campus to counsel the students.
