Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha, (MKSSS), Pune’s Nagpur branch was started in 2002 with the generous donation of premises and land by Rai Bahadur Hanumantrao Nargundkar Trust. The branch is situated in the heart of Nagpur city. It provides professional courses like B.Ed, D.Ed and B.Sc. nursing. Certain diploma and certificate programmes are also conducted.

From the year 2005 MKSSS has started B.Ed. course approved by Kavi Kulguru Kalidas Sanskrit Vidyapeeth in Nagpur. With experienced faculty and good facilities, MKSSS’s educational reach is substantially widened in this area. The infrastructural development for Engineering College for women is in progress. MKSSS, Nagpur proposes to commence it within a year.
