MKSSS: Wai Campus
Late Shri Bapusaheb Kathawate and Shri Bapusaheb Datar had taken tremendous efforts to establish Kanya Shala at Wai, exclusively for girl students in the year 1925. To run a school in a village was not an easy task in the olden days; Maharshi Anna Karve had taken a lead and joined the school with Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Samstha, Pune in the year 1950. Kanyashala Wai had celebrated a diamond Jubilee in 1985 and Amrit Mahotsav in 2000.
There are separate buildings for each and every unit. Spacious and airy classrooms, well equipped laboratories, rich library and a big play ground.
The teachers are dedicated and take keen interest in developing the confidence of the students, making them independent and self-reliant. Apart from imparting knowledge and skills, the school gives emphasis on health awareness programs too.
